Leamington 4th XI as usual battled on to play against Edgbaston. Still struggling to find a keeper for the game, Leamington had to play 11 outfielders. This fuelled Edgbaston with the confidence to push harder at the goal. In an attempt to stop the pressure and save a shot Leamington conceded a penalty stroke. Impossible to save without a keeper this compounded the fact that Leamington ladies require a permanent keeper. Edgbaston 5th XI won 4 – 0.
